Boiler Beach now posted as safe for bathing

The Grey Bruce Health Unit said in a press release on August 29 that beach water sampling at Boiler Beach, in the Township of Huron-Kinloss shows that samples are within Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care standards for acceptable bacterial levels.

Based on the sampling results, the Beach is now deemed safe for bathing.

On August 23, the unit reported that water samples tested at Boiler Beach showed elevated counts of bacteria, causing the beach to be temporarily posted as unsafe.
