Crash ends in injuries and missing dog On Wednesday November 12 at 7:00 p.m. South Bruce OPP, Bruce County Paramedics and the Kincardine Fire Department responded to a collision on Highway 9 east of Bervie in Kincardine Township. Constable Jim Mercey says that a 53-year-old Kincardine Township man was reversing his tractor-trailer into his driveway on Highway 9 when a westbound 2008 Altima driven by a 67-year-old Guelph woman ran into the side of the tractor-trailer. The Nissan Altima received extensive front-end damage. The driver was transported to the Kincardine Hospital. The driver of the tractor-trailer was uninjured. Missing dog Mercey says there were two dogs in the Nissan and that one of the dogs ran off from the scene and is yet to be located. The dog is a Miniature Collie named Kayleigh. She is white and light brown. The dog was last seen near Tiverton. Mercey says police are still assisting with the search of the dog and are requesting citizens to contact the South Bruce OPP at 519-396-3341 if it is located. |
