Suspect caught by police in Point Clark break-ins

In the early morning hours of Friday November 14, police arrested a Huron County man caught breaking into a tool shed and stealing gas and other items at an Amberley Beach Road address in Point Clark.

Members of the South Bruce and Huron County OPP Crime Units and Western Region Emergency Response Team all had a part in arresting Matthew Procak, 24, of Huron County and held him for a bail hearing in Walkerton.

Police are continuing their investigation with this man and other suspects in relation to numerous thefts and break/enters that have plagued the Point Clark area throughout the summer of 2008.

Police encourage residents in that area to check their outbuildings, as well as other cottages to see if other buildings have been entered and thefts have not yet been detected.
