Police apprehend fleeing 17-year-old suspect who led them on a dangerous drive Constable Joanna Van Mierlo of the Huron OPP says that shortly after 8:30 p.m. on October 17, 2008 a officer observed a white Crown Victoria in Exeter containing at least six occupants and when the officer began to turn around in order to initiate a traffic stop when the vehicle rapidly sped away. The officer activated the cruiser lights and siren and attempted to get the suspect vehicle to stop. The Canine Unit was contacted and the driver was tracked and later apprehended. Officers also seized a quantity of alcohol and stolen property from inside the suspect vehicle.
