Car thefts continue in the area South Bruce OPP is investigating several thefts from vehicles in the Township of Kincardine and in Walkerton recently. Constable Jim Conrad says that on July 4, 2008 a Sirius Radio system model number SV3TK1C was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on Inverness Street North in Kincardine. He says that several other vehicles were entered on Huron Ridge Cr. overnight on July 12-13, 2008 and a electric guitar, an amplifier and a couple patch cords were stolen. Walkerton is also seeing it’s share of thefts from cars. Conrad says that South Bruce OPP is investigating the theft of a cell phone from an unlocked truck parked on Westwood drive in the Town of Walkerton. The theft was not reported when it went missing as the owner felt he had lost his phone. The owner has since received a large phone bill. The stolen phone is made by Samsung.
