Another Highway 21 collision causes serious injuries

Ontario Provincial Police is investigating a two-vehicle collision that occurred on Highway 21 in Kincardine Township that saw a 29-year-old Mississauga man airlifted to Victoria Hospital in London.

He was the driver of a black 1995 Chevrolet Geo that was travelling southbound on Highway 21 when a tractor-trailer pulled out in front of him at about 10:50 p.m. on June 12, 2008.

The second vehicle was a 1986 GMC tractor trailer pulling a trailer which had pulled out onto Highway 21 and headed northbound.

The driver, a 49-year-old Kincardine Township resident and the 50-year-old Kincardine passenger were not injured.

Highway 21 was closed for a period of time while the OPP Technical Collision investigators completed their investigation.

The investigation continues.
