South Bruce OPP is investigating a family dispute that occurred at 8:27 p.m. on July 20, 2008 at a Colborne Street residence in the Town of Walkerton.

A 46-year-old man was stabbed in the back by his 22-year-old step daughter after an altercation at the family apartment.

The stabbing victim was treated at hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The 46-year-old man has been charged with assault and the 22-year-old female has been charged with assault with a weapon.
