Bridge Replacement on the 18 Mile River and Side Road 25 slightly behind schedule Hugh Nichol, public works superintendent for Huron-Kinloss reported to council on Aug 8 that the bridge replacement is behind schedule by approximately one week due to difficulties encountered during demolition. Nichol said that emergency services personnel and the local landowners were notified. Public Works attended an on-site meeting held July 24, 2007 and said “It is anticipated both roads will be open to traffic by late September.” Huron Township Side Road 25 between Concession 2 and Highway 86 was closed to the public on July 23. |
