Ripley man charged with impaired

Constable Jim Conrad says that another drinking driver was found to be more than twice over the legal limit in Kincardine.

South Bruce OPP responded to report of a possible impaired driver heading towards the Town of Kincardine at 4:29 p.m. on July 19, 2008.

The suspect vehicle was located in a commercial parking lot.

The driver was found to be impaired and was arrested.

His blood alcohol readings were 190 and 200 mgs of alcohol per 100 mls of blood.

The 25-year-old Ripley man was charged and will be appearing in court on August 25, 2008 in Walkerton Provincial Court to answer the charge.
